How we use your information

Domino Cabs offers a taxi service to both the general public & business community in Jersey. In order, to provide and pay for those services we collect information from you:

When we get enquiries by phone or personal appearance at our booking office we may record names, pick up address, destination and telephone/mobile numbers, details of disability, number and age of children and details of pets on a booking enquiry. 

E-Mail Communication

As part of this booking process you automatically opt in to e-mail communication with us as part of the service you are requesting. If at any stage you would prefer to stop e-mail communication you are free to do so and call us using landline or mobile.

Booking Online

To book our services online through our website using the Airport or Local forms you are agreeing for us to use the information you provide for the sole purpose of booking a cab.

Credit/debit Cards

Credit/debit card details are not stored by Domino Cabs. These transactions are operated via a card reader operated by Sum Up in compliance with the applicable current data protection laws. Customer credit card details can also be taken ‘In Cab’ through a Pay Pal, SumUp, World Pay or similar approved card reader. 


We do not pass data onto 3rd Parties unless it enables us to perform services requested by you. Booking data is used securely by our operations staff for the sole purpose of providing a cab service. Operational staff including drivers are trained and supervised in handling personal data.

Third Party Cookies

Our websites use features from other websites that may leave a cookie. These are third-party cookies and we’re unable to block or prevent them. For information about those cookies you would need to check the originator’s website for their cookie policy.


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In-order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Accessing & Updating your Personal Information

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.  You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005. A small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of the information held, please write to us. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible. Using CCTV

Domino Cabs does not have CCTV in its office or in its vehicles at this time, any CCTV fitted into vehicles in the future will only be used to record the general public purely for the purposes of security & safety of our drivers and will serve as a deterrent and prevention to crime and criminal activity. 

If CCTV is used signs will be placed and clearly visible in the Domino Cabs office and any vehicle owned by Domino Cabs or affiliated to Domino Cabs. Domino Cabs Limited will register the use of office CCTV with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
